Location: Poplar and I-240 East Memphis Hyatt Regency

Elevation: 535 ft asl

Equipment: Margorrie Receiver and Magorrie Transmitter. The transmitter  runs about 30 watts into the cavities.

Duplexers: Wacom Band-Pass Band-Reject.

Antenna: Phelps Dodge on the receiver and a Hustler G5 on transmit (running two antennas for better performance).

Controller: Cat 1000 every bell and whistle that is available at this time is installed well almost.

Weather Station: Peter Brothers Weather Station - wind, temp, rain, with recorded measurements that can be played real time or check and see what has happened in the last 24 hours.

Weather Receiver: Real Time weather alerts area wide are broadcast immediately from the National Weather Service. The warnings can be off all kinds including rain, wind, tornadoes and soon to come Amber Alerts.

Interesting facts of the 146.25/85 repeater: This was the very first repeater frequency assigned to the group close to 30 years ago. The Short-Winded Net name was chose by WD4JHD Russ and WB4LHD Randy for the repeater because that was about the best name the controller had vocabulary words that would program.
